Everett Rice

Everett S. Rice

Everett joined the U.S. Maritime Service when he was eighteen and became a Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputy at twenty-three. After serving as the chief of detectives, Everett left the Sheriff’s Office to attend law school in 1982. After four years of private law practice, Everett was elected Pinellas County Sheriff in 1988.

He was re-elected three more times before retiring from the office of sheriff in 2004. In 2004, Everett was elected to the Florida Legislature. Everett then had the privilege of working with renowned Tampa attorney, Barry A. Cohen, from 2007 until 2011.

Matthew T. Rice

Matthew was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was admitted to practice in 2005 and began his career as an Assistant State Attorney (prosecutor) in Key West, Florida. He has been in private practice in Pinellas County, Florida since 2008.
